During COP26, in November 2021, Swati Pujari, Founder of Gender Lens Project spoke to Sally Kramers at the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) Leadership Podcast, about why she started Gender Lens Project, what gender lens investing means, what are the benefits of gender lens investing and what steps investors can start taking.
Swati speaks about her experience in working with SMEs in South Asia as well as working with development partners, she discusses the different stakeholder groups and how gender lens investing can be holistic, what the data shows and what investors can do or are doing in this space, including a short overview of the 2X Challenge.
